I agree that Mr. Ventura is sort of a dumbo. He tries though. Overall, the Governor's office in this State isn't that strong. The commanding force in government here is the Minnesota Legislature.
Society hasn't really changed much due to his coming into office. We still have to go to Wisconsin for liquor on Sunday. We still have to pay way to much for automobile license plate taxes. And there are definitely no brothels to speak of.
His election is a lot like something that could happen in Utah. The people have spoken, but all in all the laws and social mores are still driven by conservative suburbanites. That's just the way it is, unfortunately.
