Kids Movies With SPOILERS

Air Bud
Just worth watching for the dog. I know it's just a kid's movie but as you can see below, kid's movies can still be good.
Speaking of dog movies, how do they explain the dogs with new masters after every sequel? Poor dogs must be having a nervous breakdown. Every time they go out to pee a new family is living in their house.

Balto
Matthew Broderick voices Balto, a down on his luck wolf/dog in the Alaskan frontier. He gets drawn up into the efforts to get medicine to the town's sick children.
They did base this on a true story, something I'm not so comfortable with. Dying kids and talking geese...
Anywho, it drags some here and there but the kids will still like it. It has a villian you can boo at, supporting characters kids will love and an exciting chase scene at the end that will get them all worked up and running around the neighberhood for hours.

G.I.Joe
Watch carefully. You'll notice that when the land based Cobra vehicles are destroyed, no Cobras jump out. Presumably they have been instantly killed, their bodies crisping and burining inside the flaming wreckage...It's great!
In the G.I.Joe comic books, things were a lot more bloodthirsty. Near the end of the run a lot of Joes got shot on panel. (It was a lot of the driver characters who croaked but still).
Wasn't there a TV episode where a Cobra soilder got shot? Snake Eyes and Shipwreck roaring down a traintrack and shooting up an obstruction the bad guys were hiding behind. I could have sworn that one of the soilders jerked back as a shot nailed him right in the chest.

Goonies
Man, I love the eighties. Even Cyndi Lauper. I know, it's not popular to like popular icons but hell, good songs are good songs.
I wonder what happened to the two criminal sons anyway? They were good actors.
Watch for two glitches, both near the end. The chinese kids blatheres to adults about the octopus but there was no octopus in the movie at all. And I'm not just talking about the hacked to pieces TBS version, this was left out of the movie all together. (Thank god).
Glitch 2. When Mikey's dad tears up the contract and throws it up in the air, you can clearly see something behind him launching more confetti moments after.

Mighty Ducks: D3
Everyone in the theatre was actually cheering along to the song at the end. It was great. Sure, it was the typical sports movie with the last minute save but when the writing is done well, who cares?

Never Ending Story
Sadly the producers took this premise to heart and made sequels. Avoid the sequels at all costs.
The first one is absolutely incredible. The magic land is realistic and believable. The characters are appealing and the special effects. Man, they just blew my mind.
And who didn't want a Falcor to ride to school?
I'm just glad I never encountered any Falcor plushies.

Pokemon: The First Movie
What an imaginative title.
The animation, storyline and plot are leagues better then any of the episodes. I know it's popular to trash Pokemon but I'll let any kids I have control over watch this before a lot of the stuff out there today.

Transformers
I have to go against the grain here and say it stunk to high heaven. The plot was awful and incossitent. Spike finds the good guys just MOMENTS before they are dropped into the acid? Unicorn is so powerful that he eats moons yet his eyeballs can be smashed out from the inside?
The point where I gave up is when Omega Supreme Beef Patty With Cheese was literally SNAPPED back together after being killed. Was that all it took to resurrect a dead Transformer? Why didn't they try it back on earth when Transformers were dying left and right?
